Magic: The Gathering Tops $600 Million in a Single Quarter for the First Time

Hasbro's Q3 2026 earnings put Magic revenue at $616.1 million, up 34% year over year, driven by The Hobbit and Reality Fracture.

Magic: The Gathering just had its biggest quarter on record. Hasbro's Q3 2026 earnings release, filed with the SEC on October 20, 2026, shows the brand surpassed $600 million in quarterly revenue for the first time, hitting $616.1 million, up 34% from $459.4 million in the same quarter last year.

The numbers, as filed

Hasbro's own Q3 2026 earnings exhibit credits the jump to two releases: The Hobbit, which came out August 14, 2026, and Reality Fracture, which came out October 2, 2026. The filing names both sets as growth drivers without breaking out how much each contributed individually.

Magic's 34% growth ran well ahead of the rest of Hasbro's business. The company's Wizards and Digital Gaming segment, which houses Magic and D&D, grew 31% overall, and Hasbro's total net revenue for the quarter came in at $1,595.3 million, up 15% from $1,387.5 million a year earlier.

What it means for the shelf

A number like this says the format and the brand are healthy heading into a crossover-heavy 2027 slate. It doesn't tell you what any specific card is worth. For that, our pricing posts go card by card, with an as-of date attached to every number.
