Magic's World Championship 32 Lands in Atlanta With a $1 Million Purse
The 2025-26 Pro Tour season crowns its champion November 13-15 at MagicCon: Atlanta, where first place alone is worth $100,000.
Magic's World Championship 32 runs November 13-15, 2026, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, and Wizards' official fact sheet for competitors confirms the stakes: a $1,000,000 total prize pool, with first place alone worth $100,000.
The season's last stop
World Championship 32 is the culmination of the 2025-26 Pro Tour season, bringing together the players who punched their ticket across the year's qualifying events. It's held as part of MagicCon: Atlanta, the final MagicCon stop of 2026, which Wizards is also using to celebrate the launch of Reality Fracture and the Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek crossover set.
How players got here
Per Wizards' own invitation list, the field is built from several qualification paths rather than a single tournament: finishes from the season's Pro Tours (at the 36-match-point threshold or Top 8), Regional Championship results, Arena Championship placements, Magic Online Championship Series Showcase performances, and a return invite for players who made the Top 8 at World Championship 31. We're not going to put a hard number on the total field here: the published invitation list is long and the sourcing on an exact headcount wasn't consistent enough for us to stand behind a specific figure.
The money on the table
Wizards' fact sheet lays out the payout for the top of the standings: 1st — $100,000; 2nd — $50,000; 3rd-4th — $25,000 each; 5th-8th — $20,000 each, out of the $1,000,000 total pool.
