Reality Fracture's Collector Boosters and Bundles Will Be Late in Several Regions

Not every Reality Fracture box will show up on time. On September 11, Wizards of the Coast confirmed that "a selection of Reality Fracture products may arrive later than expected" due to production and shipping delays, ahead of the set's September 25 prerelease and October 2 tabletop launch.

What's Delayed, Where

The delays hit different products in different regions, per Wizards' own announcement:

• North America: Omega Collector Boosters
• Asia-Pacific: Collector Boosters, Bundles, and Reality Fracture Commander decks — Wizards adds that "Foundations Commander decks are not impacted by this delay"
• Europe, Middle East, and Africa: Collector Boosters (tight availability) and Secret Lair Bundles
• Latin America: Secret Lair Bundles
• Japan: No delays reported

This is a separate issue from the Panama Canal drought that could leave Play Boosters short in North America, which we covered on September 8 — that one is about the Play Booster supply chain specifically. This announcement leaves Play Boosters alone and hits Collector Boosters, Bundles, Secret Lair Bundles and Commander decks instead, across a wider set of regions.

What's Not Affected

Wizards was specific about the good news too: Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs are "currently on schedule" for Prerelease events and the set's release in all regions, and the September 25 prerelease date itself isn't moving. If your plan is a straightforward prerelease weekend or Play Booster drafts on October 2, this announcement doesn't touch you — though Wizards calls the situation "fluid," so currently is doing real work in that sentence.

Mark Your Calendar

• Prerelease events: September 25, 2026
• Tabletop release: October 2, 2026
• Unaffected everywhere: Play Boosters, Prerelease Packs
• Delayed in spots: Omega Collector Boosters, Collector Boosters, Bundles, Secret Lair Bundles, Commander decks (region-dependent — see above)

Wizards hasn't given a cause beyond "delays in production and shipping," but it did put rough brackets on how late "late" is: some products "may arrive after Prerelease events on September 25, while others may arrive after the set's tabletop release on October 2." It adds that the delays are "fluid" while its logistics teams work to pull timelines in, and suggests checking with your local game store for availability. We'll keep watching for a follow-up.
