The Mystical Archive is back
Released April 24, 2026, Secrets of Strixhaven — the 111th Magic expansion — sends players back to the wizard university on Arcavios, and brings back the fan-favorite Mystical Archive: the alternate-art reprint sheet of premium spells that made the original 2021 set so collectible.
It's a full mainline expansion: 271 cards in the main set, plus 60 new eternal-legal cards across the Commander precons.
Why it's a big deal
Wizards has called it the best-selling premier in-universe set of all time, and the Mystical Archive is a big reason. Those reprints put high-demand spells back into circulation in gorgeous frames — good for players building decks and good for collectors chasing the showcase treatments.
